Challenges of infant feeding in China

Despite the rapid growth of birth rate, the low complementary food penetration rate and lack of access to scientific infant feeding methods pose significant challenges for parents in China.
One of the biggest challenges for parents is knowing what to feed their babies in their different growth and development stages. They may be unsure of what foods are appropriate and how to cook and prepare healthy and nutritious meals. Some parents may also not be aware of their baby's food allergies or how to safely feed an allergic baby. Additionally, picky eaters and babies with sensitive digestive systems can also be challenging to feed.

The Chinese infant feeding market is a rapidly growing market with a number of emerging opportunities. One of the key trends driving this growth is the rapid growth of the online channel. This presents an opportunity for businesses to reach a large number of parents with information about infant feeding and to sell them infant food products.
